AWOOO!! Kelly is absolutely thrilled to be a part of the Destination Dinner Stage production of “Happy Daze Again”. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Kelly started classical vocal training at age 5 and has never stopped singing. Although this is Kelly’s first show with Destination Dinner Stage, she has performed over 15 shows with Celebrations. You may have also seen Kelly this past summer in the Rainbow Stage production of “Frozen”. Kelly would like to thank everyone who is here tonight for continuing to support the arts.
A very special thank you goes out to Kelly’s friends and family (Hi Mom!) for all their love and support. Tonight’s, and every performance is dedicated to Kelly’s late father, Stewart Benzing.
Mrs CMallory James
Welcome to Happy D “ay” ze! I was born and raised right here in Winnipeg and my first professional show was on this very stage in 2006. Since then, I’ve graduated from the acting program at Studio 58 in Vancouver, performed in theatres across western Canada and became the proud mother of a feisty 2-year-old. Theatre is my passion but I also dabble in voice over (Kub Kamp and The Amazing Caterpillar) and film (November 1963 and Bob Odenkirk’s Normal). I am very grateful to the caretakers of this land who came long before me and I’ll endeavor to do my part to make this planet a safe and happy place to play. Special love goes to I, R and the rest of my incredible family.
