Thank you for being a theatre patron! I was born and raised right here in Winnipeg and my first professional show was on this very stage in 2006. Since then, I’ve graduated from the acting program at Studio 58 in Vancouver, performed in theatres across western Canada and became the proud mother of a feisty 1 year old. Theatre is my passion but I also dabble in voice over, film and tv. I am very grateful to the caretakers of this land who came long before me and I’ll endeavor to do my part to make this planet a safe and happy place to play. Special love goes to I, R and the rest of my incredible family.
BlancheYanin Cranwill
After watching every episode of the tv show, enduring weeks of intense shoulder pad training, and finely tuning her flirty southern drawl, Yanin is thrilled to be on stage with this wonderful cast for the debut production at Destination Dinner Stage! Yanin will be familiar to audiences here in her hometown Winnipeg after many years of performing in and around the city and across the country. From singing, improv comedy, writing, art, theatre, film, and voice-over work, Yanin has been privileged to create and play with amazing artists of all types. Recent projects include last year’s hit musical comedy Rancher’s & Rustlers 2 at the Souris Valley Theatre in Estevan, Sk, performing in Soap Scum improvised soap opera which will debut at an exciting new venue this fall, singing with a local metal band for their newly recorded singles, and voicing a character in an upcoming video game titled…sorry, can’t tell you, no spoilers! Yanin would like to thank her amazing friends and family, but there are too many to name…her loving partner Scott, and beautiful offsprings Kacey and Eliotte, for all their love and support…but honestly this bio is already running long, so instead she’ll wrap it up by wishing you all a wonderful evening of laughs, and music, as we join together again in this wonderful theatre to celebrate and send up everyone’s favorite golden oldies and best friends, The Golden Gals.
RoseDarah McLean
In 2022, after spending 14 years away from performing to raise 2 amazing kids, Darah got the opportunity to be a princess! Darah was thrilled to perform along some of the best in Frozen Princess Bride, a show designed just for kids. Two years later, and she’s ready to come back for even more fun. Darah is so excited to be in the first Destinations Dinner Stage show. To be playing Rose, one of her favourite characters in television history, makes it even more sweet. Past credits include Pirates of the North Saskatchewan, Steinfeld and Frasier, The College Years. She wouldn’t be here without the support and love from Mike, Austin, Avery, Mom, Dad and Ashley.
Lloyd / BoydBrad Zacharias
Destination Dinner Theatre is happy to be working with Brad, almost as much as he is to be working with them! From Carman, Manitoba, Brad has been performing in the Canadian theatre scene for over a decade, but you may know him from his time with the previous theatre right here in Canad Inns, performing anyone from Dr. Watson to Luke Skywalker. He currently resides right here in Winnipeg, living with his wife, dogs Asuka and Midna, and home office employee of the month, Loki the cat. Brad wants to thank his friends, wife Jeny, family, and the theatre for the opportunity to get back on stage, and we hope you enjoy the show!
