Purpose: To create 100% Guest Satisfaction by providing superior service to tavern united guests
Areas of Responsibility:
 

The Tavern United Supervisor will perform duties at an exceptional level, while enhancing and maintaining superior customer service. This position requires an individual to articulately communicate both verbally and in writing; Be organized, accurate and reliable; Possess strong mathematical and computer skills; Able to recognize and resolve problems quickly and efficiently with a positive attitude; Must consistently demonstrate leadership skills; Have adequate knowledge of Tavern and hotel procedures; Ability to take direction and multi-task efficiently; Candidates should be clean with good hygiene habits, detail-oriented, and enjoy meeting and speaking to a variety of people.

 

The ability to acquire “Serving it Safe” certification, a Criminal Record Check, as well as the ability to work days, holidays, evenings and / or weekends, and be of legal age is required.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

 

The Supervisor MUST be able to stand, walk, and remain on their feet and perform job duties during their shift while working quickly and quietly, deal with loud noises, large crowds and potentially upset guests; Handle a fast-paced environment that is often stressful; Lift, balance and carry trays of up to 20 lbs during your shift; and Operate a cash register and all processes of payment.

Technical Service Skills… Demonstrate understanding of the technical service skills for assigned area (i.e. food & beverage service, housekeeping, etc.)

Point of Sale… Skilled in utilization of point of sale systems and/or other back-of the house systems.

Upselling… Know the available products and services and suggest alternatives.
