The Communications and Marketing Coordinator is an administrative role responsible for supporting the communications team in the development and execution of various marketing and communications-related tasks for the organization.

The focus of this position is maintaining various communication platforms including social media marketing, website maintenance, and marketing collateral.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate regular updates to various digital communications platforms.
  • Prepare, edit, and proofread communications-related material, from verbal or written information.
  • Create and modify documents using MS Office and Adobe PDF.
  • Develop and maintain contact database systems.
  • Coordinate project-based work.
  • Other duties as requested.

Qualifications:
  • Relevant educational or employment experience.
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools such as HubSpot, Customer.io, Mailchimp.
  • Experience with social media marketing, Google Analytics, and/or content marketing.
  • Post-secondary studies in digital media and/or marketing are considered an asset.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products, with emphasis on Word and Excel, is required.
  • Proficiency in English language skills is required; proficiency in French and/or other languages is considered an asset.
