|Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing Canad Certified four star Service and by exceeding guest expectations.
¨ Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service
¨ Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
¨ Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate.
¨ Performs other duties as required
Supports and assists Great Western Roadhouse bartenders
¨ Clean the facility as needed, including washrooms (frequent bathroom checks)
¨ Collect glasses and beer bottles and return full cases of empties to the appropriate areas
¨ Ensures bartenders and servers have sufficient garnishes and miscellaneous items to perform their job duties
¨ Replenishes water and ice bins
¨ Greets each guest politely
¨ Maintain adequate supply of beer, coolers and specialty drinks in each cooler
¨ Obtain liquor from Manager as necessary utilizing proper transfer procedures
¨ Provide relief for Bartenders when needed
¨ Recognize and prioritize the needs of the bar to maintain efficiency
¨ Supply change to bartenders when needed
¨ Sweep broken glass
¨ Tend to the bar area throughout the shift, wiping down the bar, retrieving change from the tip rail, removing dirty or broken glassware, etc.
¨ Wash and re-shelve glassware
¨ Remove all glassware from tables, ledges, and stand-upbars and other areas, and return to the bar to clean in the glasswasher
¨ Ensure all empties are collected and returned to the appropriate area
¨ Melt and clean the ice bins
¨ Store all garnishes, juices and other items appropriately
¨ Clean garnish containers and trays, juice jugs and other items as required
¨ Wipe down the entire bar area, including coolers, bar, tip rails and cabinets
¨ Collect all empty liquor bottles, record on the transfer sheet and dispose of bottles accordingly
¨ Take out garbage and remove to the appropriate area
¨ Ensure that beer coolers and liquor cabinets are locked and secured
¨ Ensure store rooms are neat and clean
