Canad Inns & Manitoba 150
Manitoba Owned. Manitoba Grown. Manitoba PROUD!
The year 2020, will mark 150 years since Manitoba became Canada’s fifth province. The land that we now call Manitoba has been home to Indigenous peoples for thousands of years. In fact, the very name of our province is believed to come from several Indigenous languages, including the Cree word manitou-wapow, the Ojibwe word manidoobaa, or the Assiniboine word minnetoba.
2020 is a year to celebrate Manitoba’s beauty, culture, people and history. Be part of the celebrations throughout the year – engage in activities to cultivate pride in our province, foster a profound connection with our past, our diverse cultures, and above all, unite us in celebration! As a Manitoba Owned, Manitoba Grown, Manitoba PROUD! company, Canad Inns is looking forward to celebrating with you throughout the year.

Canad Inns is proud to sponsor
•• LEARN 150 ••
In partnership with Manitoba 150 and WE, the Canad Inns Foundation is proud to sponsor a new bilingual, made-in Manitoba learning resource called Learn 150. Learn 150 will teach students in Kindergarten through Grade 12, about Manitoba history while focusing on issues regarding diversity and reconciliation. It will also stress the importance of healthy choices and an active lifestyle as components of good citizenship. Through these values, Learn 150 will ensure the strong community ethic that built Manitoba will remain with future generations.
