A special thank you to all those who made this year's Canad Day Picnic in the Park day special! This year's event was another resounding success!

Celebrate Canada Day with us at our Canad Day Picnic in the Park! Join the fun and excitement by celebrating Canada on Sunday, July 1st, at Canad Day Picnic in the Park.

This family oriented day is free to all who attend and a great way to celebrate our nation’s birthday in beautiful Assiniboine Park.

Canad Inns organizes the daylong festivities, 1:00 pm – 11:00 pm, which include games and activities for children, entertainment and a spectacular fireworks display.

A full day of activities is provided for the child in all of us. All events are held at the Assiniboine Park Lyric Threatre.

Free "Park & Ride" parking is available at nearby Canadian Mennonite University or Asper Jewish Community Campus.

The Spirit of We Award:

As a proud Sponsor of We Day Winnipeg 2011, Canad Inns wishes to honour and support the youth that give back to their community in the “spirit of we” demonstrating the actions taken following We Day Winnipeg this past year.

On July 1st, Canad Inns will be hosting the Canada Day Celebration at Assiniboine Park and we would like you to be part of it! Youth can submit their application or nomination online between June 11th – 15th, 2012. The winner, who demonstrates strong leadership and teamwork skills, will be announced on June 18th and honoured at the Canada Day Celebration by Craig Kielburger, co-Founder of Free The Children.
The winning individual or group will win a $ 1000 award towards a fundraising effort of their choice.
